Wildnis

Wildnis ist eine Serie über die Kräfte, die in uns wirken.

Tiere begleiten Menschen seit Jahrhunderten als Sinnbilder für Mut, Klarheit, Ruhe oder Stärke. In diesen Bildern stehen sie nicht für eine feste Bedeutung. Sie öffnen einen Raum für das, was jeder Betrachter selbst darin entdeckt.

Jedes Portrait erzählt von einer möglichen Verbindung – zu einer Eigenschaft, einem inneren Anteil oder einer Kraft, die gerade gebraucht wird. Manche Tiere schenken Ruhe, andere geben Halt, ermutigen oder erinnern daran, der eigenen Intuition zu folgen.

Wildnis versteht das Wilde nicht als etwas Äußeres. Sondern als etwas Ursprüngliches in uns, das uns trägt, erdet und lebendig macht.

Wilderness

Wilderness is a series about the forces that shape and move us from within.

For centuries, animals have accompanied humanity as symbols of courage, clarity, calm, and strength. In these paintings, however, they do not represent fixed meanings. Instead, they open a space for what each viewer discovers within them.

Each portrait tells the story of a possible connection: to a quality, an inner aspect of oneself, or a source of strength that may be needed in a particular moment. Some animals offer calm, others provide support, encouragement, or a reminder to trust one’s own intuition.

Wilderness does not understand the wild as something external. Rather, it is seen as something primal within us: a force that sustains, grounds, and brings us to life.
